You should be grateful you can get it for 60 bucks. I paid $90 for my PS3 copy, that's the standard price, and the 360 price is $70.

I just fought him about 40 minutes ago, he's my favourite boss fight so far. I didn't think he was that tough, others have been harder for me, although I am playing it on Human mode first run through. But yeah, I hated that damn shield too. Half the time I was jumping about like a damn maniac trying to bring it down, only for him to f*ck off and come back with a full shield. I suppose that's the traditional DMC way, though.

What I don't like is the set cameras like Resident Evil. It kept switching and I'd end up running in the wrong direction or spinning back to the same spot I came from, which got me stuck between camera angles. That bit annoys me.
If I can overcome that issue, I might just get the game on the PS3.

why would you get it on the ps3 instead of the xbox360? just curious.

Because the PS3 is quieter and more stable. Plus, I don't have many games for my PS3 compared to the 360, so I need to build games library!

-"Hello, Microsoft Heldesk, Bish speaking. Have you tried restarting your computer?"
-"Hello. No... Lemme try...... Nope, didn't fix it"
-"Ok, the only solution left is to headbutt it as hard as you can repeatedly"
-"Hold on............ Aaah, that fixed it, thanks!"

Trust me man. He is hard as hell on Son of Sparda. As you unlock the harder difficulties bosses and monsters are more aggressive and will do things that you have no yet seen. Not to mention you take more damage and the bosses have more hp. Only part that gets to me if the way The "Holliness" guy was designed. After you take his first shield off he would run away from you. Only way to attack is let him gain distance so he does some stupid attack. And by the time you reach him you have 2 seconds to unleash a combo before he regenerates his shield.. Im probably gonna try again tomorrow, but the game is really fun especially Blood Palace.
Some good advice, If you low on money or Proud Souls play mission on the hardest difficulty you can. The boss is easy as hell to kill and if you pull off a A or S rank you get 1000 proud stones as well at a lot of red orbs.

the achievement "Clear All Missions On Human Mode" does that include the secret missions? If it does, how many secret missions are there? Thanks.

It's a great game, except I hate the saving options. You have to beat the whole mission in order to save, can't do it in the middle or you'll restart from the beginning of the mission next time you play.

No you dont have to beat all the secret missions. Most of the missions are easy except for 3 and each mission gives you blue orb pieces. Mission like where you have to do 5 Royal Blocks in a row, Raise your Style Points without attacking, and Kill all the enemies without getting hit or eatten.
Just beat Son Of Sparda. Holy Shit it was pretty tough at random points of the game. Haha time to replay it again on harder difficulty. Ummm ok i just unlocked "Dante Must Die" and "Heaven Or Hell"....Dante Must Die is hard as hell for no reason, But heaven or hell is really funny, Basically its 1 hit kill for everything. So if you shot someone they die if you get hit you die.

Its basically a timed survival game. You get it after you beat one of the games difficulties.

Beat the game yesterday. Fighting the Savior was awesome. I'm going through now on Human to get all the stuff, like secret missions, Proud Souls, etc.
I tried Bloody Palace but went in to the Berial Battle with no health so the first time he "flamed on" I died, so I'm getting full skill up and preparing to run through it with Dante. Any tips for beating Bloody Palace? Would Nero be better? I think he can kill faster, but Dante is more stylish.
