DMC 4, Berial Boss
Seriously how they heck do you beat this guy? I have tried now 5 times at least to beat him.
It is the first boss and it shouldn't be this hard.
How do you beat him?

Combo his ass, us ethe grab t get close then sword his ass to kingdom come. If you have the charge shot you can use that to take off small bits.

I almost got him the last time I tried to beat him. But his attacks were just more powerful then mine even though mine were many and fast and damaging.
I also figured from a video on YouTube, when he goes black or grey it when you can do a lot of damage to him.

This guy is mad easy, beat him on my first try in Demon Hunter mode. Just stay back and shoot him a bit with the pistol then jump and do some mid-air combos. When he loses his flames, hit a buster on his ass. Rinse and repeat.

He mainly has 3 attacks. A simple swing from left to right, can be avoided by a jump. Slash from top to bottom, Learn to dodge with is RB + direction + A. And he does thing stupid swing motion and run into you, i find air hike good for that move. Always rev your weapon before you attack. Its so much easier if your new to fighting him. As you play you will get more skills and it would be easier. I replayed missions over and over again to get more Skills and red orb for health so you might want to try that.
Easy way to kill him. Your best bet is to fight him from the top, grab onto his face do some air combos, Don't chain them for too long, Watch for his attacks and dodge. You can shoot him for the first 5 minutes to bring his health down if you want, but he gets harder near the end.
Later when his health is low he will start Charging at you, Can be avoided by the rolling dodge. Also likes to combo that with the fire that shoots out of the ground. When he does that just run around avoiding the fire and when he charges roll out of the way, do a quick combo and run. This guy is really hard for a first boss.

Almost got him. I just need a few more good attacks and then I will have him.
Yes I don't play every day, so yes I haven't beaten the first major boss yet.

when he goes black, jump up and do a buster on him and then you can buster him again. takes off quite a bit of health.

also killed him first go ... attack from behind with sword..keep out of his path as he shoots fire at you then attack rear again ...repeat over and over till he is brown bread
