No joke there. Holy crap. Assassin's Creed had an awesome system, but nothing to do! This game has a much better system, and plenty more to do, but it is a different kind of game. I would compare it to God of War way before Assassin's Creed.
I'm working on Dante Must Die right now btw. It's kind of frustrating to get hit by an enemy off screen and lose half of your health, but in that rare occurance, I just go rape the offender in a corner with Exceed and Devil Trigger and the most powerful moves I can think of.

Should always carry the Healing stars and some holy water. Don't focus on one enemy, try to hit 2 or more at the same time so they don't attack you or if you take too long they start building that purple thing which makes them harder to kill.

It's their Devil Mode, they have more damage and flinch resistance. Them not flinching is the hardest part, it basicly makes all of them like they have Chimeras, the just keep attacking. Oh yeah, I got an S rank on mission 4 on my first try. No item bonus, S on time, S on style, A on orbs. That's probably the only S I'll get on DMD

Dont get me wrong i love this game, but its really stupid how the last half of the game is going backwards, also there are not alot of achivments for your first time through i beat the game and only had 70 gp, if Dantes half was diffrent from Neros it would be alot better.

Yeah, Dante should have his own bosses and stuff, the only one who isnt the same as in Nero's story is the Ice Frog (whatever its called). You fight a recolour as Dante... I HATE recolours...
Dante gets new weapons all the time though. and I love Dante's cutscenes, especially the one where he shoots the crap out of all the frogs with pandora. The worst part of the game is the second to last level, its like they just wanted to put an extra mission in and couldnt think of anything interesting to do, so they just make you fight all the bosses again.
Appart from that mission, its still an awesome game
