Hd Dvd Player
Possibly a stupid question, but if all games on the XBox 360 are in HD, does that also mean the DVD player is an HD DVD player?

You're right, the DVD would have to be made in HD like Star Wars part 2 (whatever the name of it was). But I'm not sure if the DVD would upscale other DVD's to near HD quality or not like a DVD player that's designed to do that with the HDMI cable.

Nope it ant, this was my concern in an earlier thread. The dvd drive is a standard duel layer dvd drive 8Gb.
If the drive was a HD DVD drive then the games would be on 20Gb+
This means that in the futures we can expect multi disc games compared with the PS3 which will have blue-ray 50Gb discs!!!

The 360 does not have an HD DVD player.

I doubt any games would actually use up that much memory.
