Streaming from computer

Hello,

I have recently purchased a new laptop and i am having issues

Previously i have my desktop computer running windows media connect and it would stream everything alright, but that computer is pretty far away from my router and got bad connection and didnt stream good

but neways my new laptop, i have tried both WMP11 and Zune and neither one can detect my xbox and my xbox cant detect my 360

all the ports are opened on my laptop and just need some help as to what is wrong

i have tried disabling the firewall and that didnt change anything
so if someone can PLEASE help

Can the desktop see the laptop? Can the laptop see the desktop?

nope, the laptop detects nothing and nothing can detect it...

i was on the xbox.com forums and this appears to be a very common problem with the WMP11 and Zune

apparently on many different computers, once you install WMP11 it changes some features and your ability to connect,
i guess i just have to wait for a patch to come out
