Music PCSetup

[XboxPoint]

Hey has anyone tried to setup their PC so they can transfer music directly to their Xbox 360?

I went to do it and it said to go to www.xbox.com/pcsetup
to install Windows Media Connect, but when I go there I get:

Server is Unavailable


Troubleshooting Tips



* The web server may be too busy to accept your request. Try again at a later time.
* Click the Refresh button, or try again later.
* Go back to Xbox.com Home.


Technical Information

* The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

If anyone has the software and could send the set up file(s) to gethinoakes at gmail.com I would be most grateful

The site is working for me now, and I downloaded and installed:



But then there's no task bar icon or anything... just that install box ^^ finishes and then nothing... help...

Windows Media Connect is now installed, and it has the Xbox 360 connected in the list and it is allowed.

So I go to my xbox 360 and say yes I have installed it, but it sais

Can't find any computers running Windows Media Connect. Try testing your connection

The 360 is connected to my pc, and it does show up in Windows Media Connect, so why is my 360 saying this?

do you have a media centre pc because without it it wont work

you have to authorize your xbox on your windows media connect.

you dont need a windows media pc to tranfer music and pics.

also, you may need to bring down any firewalls.
