Pc monitor

Hey, i got a 360 and dont have a hdtv and i also dont have £1000 so i was thinking of buying a pc monitor here are the specs of it would it make a diffrence over a normal tv?

it would be hella nicer and sharper, the only real downside would be the actual size of the screen.

95 percent of video game magazines and websites have been saying how much better the 360 looks in high definition so this is why I am going to hook my 360 up to my PC monitor by the VGA cable. I played Halo 2 on my normal TV instead of my monitor since games weren't made to be seen in high definition.

The 360 was really made to be seen in high def. so I'd take crispy clearness over size any day.

I am gonna do the exact same. I got my 19 inch monitor and as soon as i get a 360 im good.

To bad hdtvs are expencive...why can't they just be cheap...i can't spend 500 bucks for the system and a game then buy a hdtv...damn theres always something esle i need...

i got a 17 inch laptop with a widescreen and 1680x1050 resolution would anyone recommend hooking a 360 up to this with the vga cables. im not to sure but i thought vga only outputs 800x600.

No vga can support it but i read somewhere on this forum where its not the best useing ur laptop... i duno

Btw if u read it wrong i ment vga can suport the reolution due to thats what the monitors run at would be a bit silly haveing good monitors and not being able to send the singal becuase the cable isnt good anough
