1024 X 768 can you tell me if this is good anough for Hd or not?

Just found the specs of this monitor

23in 16:9 TFT LCD with 170 degree viewing angle.

Brightness 450cd/m2.

Resolution 1024 x 768 pixels.

On screen menu.

Automatic search tuning system.

Teletext.

Nicam digital stereo.

NTSC playback.

PC input.

Wall mountable (via bracket, not supplied).

2 x 5W RMS output.

Headphone socket.

1 x SCART.

Size (H)43, (W)67, (D)22cm.

Its nerly 2 years old and it was orignaly used as a tv and now as a computer monitors just wanted to know if it will be any gd becuase i dont know much about tv's

It has to have the numbers 480p, 720i or p and/or 1080i to be high definition.

but will the quality be better than useing a normal tv as i cannot get a hd till next year so gota play my 360 on that or normal tv

yes it will look better then a normal tv. If you can get a very good price on it I would probably do it, although most recent monitors put out resolutions of 1280X1024. Your resolution will be one less then this, if the price is right why not..........beats a normal tv.

I have the monitor . One more question would it be better to use the SCART socket or get the xbox 360 vga cable because it has both.

I would say the vga with the 360 just because you will be 100 percent sure it will be compatible

the scart will be compatable but i think the vga will be better quality
