looking to get a new TV
I currently own this old bulky 20" TV that works fine for my 360 but obviously having a nice LCD HD would get the full potential of my 360.
I sit pretty close to my TV at 4ft,i think the 20" is a good size for gaming but i'm after something abit bigger.I found a 26" LCD HD for 600 UK Sterling, which is abit steep as i have a limited income.
Would you say a 22" LCD would be good enough to game on? My room isnt that big where my TV etc sits so size would be taken into consideration.
thanks

32" wont fit on my current unit and if i did put it on my unit,my wardrobe will block 1/3 of the screen.
I've decided to go for THIS is this a good TV? My budget is £600 due to a limited income.

Thats exactly the HDTV I have just purchased for my 360 - to be honest, I just received the TV today. It works great. I have the component connections to it, and all is well.
I also only sit about 4 feet away, and considered a 23" at first, but Im glad I got the 26".
Its cool, go for it.
By the way, Amazon have it for £499 with free delivery ;o)
I bought it from beyondtelevision.co.uk - only £472 including next day delivery.
Hope that helps!
Good luck, if you have any probs gimme a shout since we will have the same setup!
PS. Ive included a pic below

Hi.
Ok lemme give you my days events....
Received the Tv this morning. Set it up and tuned the channels etc easy (its freeview as well by the way).
Connected my XBox 360 using the HD component cables that came with it, and set the video settings to 1080i.
Started playing a game and came across a problem.
Every few minutes the TV would switch into standby then back on straight away - giving me a blank screen for about 3 secs - enough to seriously disturb gameplay.
Checked settings and all seemed fine.
I left the TV running on a channel for about an hour to 'wear it in'.
Since then all has been good and everything runs perfect.
The quality of GOW is amazing - just as you would expect. I ram PGR3 and the quality is also excellent, but in that you do see a few jagged edges on the cars. Now I dont know whether that is because it would be better with a VGA cable, or whether its because the TV is of a high resolution, so is bound to pick up imperfections in the game. Either way it wasnt enough to ruin play or worry about so Im not too bothered.
All in all, its a great choice. I definatly recommend it. Go get it now from beyondtelevision.co.uk. I ordered mine yesterday morning and it had already arrived this morning!!! Its the cheapest price you will find.
Any more questions gimme a shout.

By the way the difference in price between the 23" and the 26" was only about £60 - may as well get the 26" huh?
Good luck mate.

Cool. I'd appreciate it if you could let me know what the VGA cables are like compared to the component though. I was thinking of getting the VGA cable also to be honest, but I would wanna make sure that the gameplay image was definately better then component......
