Double Woot!!! The SpeakerCraft's' Are Installed! (Lots of Pictures 56K Warning)
Well after 15 hours of work they are finally in!!!! I did it all by myself except for the last 6 hours when my good buddy Chaz came by to help since my arms were tired of hammering concrete! The install was awesome, even though it took what averaged to be 3 hours a speaker it was SO easy! The main hang up was that the fronts and center were going into a concrete block wall....bust out the chipping hammer!!! These speakers are absolutely amazing, the clarity and depth that these offer, epically for an in-wall setup is far above where they needed to be, crisp clear sound, amazing vocals, with nice rich lows and mids, they really are amazing. I figured I'd share the install with everyone and let you see the time and effort that went into this home theater setup, enjoy!!!
Well first was the template(notice the size difference between the old speaker to the right of the new speakers template ) :
Then I moved to the drywall cutting and removal(Keep in mind that is a 42" TV and those speakers really are that big, just look at the cutouts comapred to the TV):
After that the real fun began, I used this:
To remove the concrete blocking and make this:
So then I has to start enclosing the area I used concrete pieces, Styrofoam, and Great Stuff Expandable foam not a good shot and it wasn't done but you get the idea:
After that was all made nice and pretty we used some sound deadening material to make sure I didn't have any echoing going on:
continued below ran out of room for pics!.............

Continued!!!!
Then we installed the speakers into their new homes:
After they were in, the grills were installed to make sure nothing damaged them:
Next we ran power from the TV into the attic and down the wall into the closet, since we didn't use the outlet in the wall we also needed to delete it to clean it up, it was taking away from the nice clean install(Yeah, now you all know what I look like):
After the power was ran we put the TV back on the wall and I painted what needed to be touched up:
And there you have it all done, notice how much cleaner it looks, and no more outlet either!!!:
Phase One:
Phase Two:
Phase Three:

Well there you have it all in and done, I calibrated everything and it is all running in tip top shape. The only other thing I am planning on doing is upgrading my receiver to a Denon, my sub to a SVS and possibly a 50"+ Samsung Plasma way down the road!!! I just want to give a shout out to Deathwish for all the advice and thanks to SpeakerCraft for such a kick ass product and last but defiantly not least my wife for letting me feed my addiction !!!! Merry Christmas and Good night!

Unless he decides to do a projector, the green is fine if it's what he likes.
