Upgrading From 23" to 40" Samsung, Need Suggestions
Hello again. After about 6 months of owning my 23" Samsung LN-S2652D (white) I've decided that I just need to bite the bullet and buy a friggin' huge TV. I've researched many of the 40" model Samsungs and I'm leaning towards the LN-S4052D because it's almost the exact HDTV I have now but almost twice the size. It has also shot down in price on amazon to around $1,400 so that's what's so appealing to me.
The 23" Samsung picture was very good IMO and the 40" will be used mostly for gaming so I was wondering if this HDTV is a good buy or not. Keep in mind that this HDTV will be used mostly for gaming and maybe a little bit for DVD's/HD-DVD's.
Thank you very much for your time.

I have the S4052D also and I love it. A little expensive if you ask me but it was well worth the purchase.

I'll probably sell it. I might sell it here on the marketplace. It's in perfect condition.

It's alright, but a 42" Panasonic plasma is an even better buy. Darker blacks, better colors, and well...a better picture! Burn in isn't a worry and they have 60,000 hour lifespans. Why would you say no?

I haven't experienced burning on mine... yet. But I like the bright colors though. Real vivid.
