hd-dvd
hi guys looking for a bit of help and information, i have got a 360 obviously as well as the hd-dvd drive for it. Now in the UK there are not that many titles available and also the ones that are, are either very expensive and not that good, however on amazon.com there is a huge range of selection my question is will they work on my uk version hd-dvd drive and will the quality be the same as a uk hd-dvd

That's a good question I haven't thought about.

I want to say that yes, it will work. HD-DVD/BluRay are both 1080p. NTSC and PAL have different SDTV/EDTV standards...but the HD standards are all the same(720p, 1080i, 1080p).

Most of the HD-DVD movies seem to be available from amazon.co.uk. They all also seem to be the USA version...so I don't even think there is more than 1 version.

i dont think they will work on it as theyre probably region locked. check on the site it may say. but if they do work then the quality should be no different

well i was speaking to a mate who claims to know eveything and he said it will work fine so i have ordeed 5 hd-dvd should be here soon so i will let you guys know what the score is when they arrive however please keep giving me your thoughts and opinions
