Yes. GoW still looks great on my parent's 10 year old 53" Sony CRT SDTV. The biggest difference between SD and HD are textures aren't blurry, jaggies are almost completely gone, and everything is sharper.

I've been playing on a crappy SDTV thats a no-name from like 7 years ago and it still looks amazing. I'm not even using the component cables (I'm using the yellow cable for video). The cut scenes are way better than the original xbox, and even gameplay is amazing. PGR3 looks amazing regardless of what tv you're on, infact all of my games do.

look at his sig...the only thing i like a lot better is the text in games is really easy to read in HD the SD is sorta hard to read
