Vizio VX37L LCD HDTV Opinions
Hello all! I am probably going to be purchasing this TV in the next couple of months from Costco and I'm wondering if anyone here has much experience with Vizio TV's. CNET has good reviews of it...and for $899 I'm thinking it's a great deal. 37 in LCD HDTV, 480p, 720p, 1080i...has one HDMI port and two component ports for HD. I also know Costco's return policy is incredible. So...anyone have any comments? Thanks!

Yes sir I bought a 32" Vizio in November and I am thrilled with it. The price can't be beat, and it makes the 360 look amazing.

Do you think the 5 inches makes a big difference? Is it worth the extra $200? I'm also going to be using this as our main living room TV...we currently have a 27 in Sony Wega Trinitron SD flat-tube. So...either would be a pretty big improvement.

How far back do you sit?

I've had this and the new 37 from them, the re-designed version with the VIZIO logo lighting up in white when on, orange when off. I took back both tv's. The first one that you were looking to buy, had yellow pixelation through out the picture, on both analog and HD. The second one, redesigned, was nice, lighter and I think a little more thin. The speakers went out on it after 3-4 weeks. Woke up and turned the TV on, the speakers were popping. After that, I said FU Vizio and I bought a 37" philips (Grey/Carbon) from Costco for 100 bucks more, I couldnt be more happier. Color's better, picture clarity is much better and it's a better brand overall. I highly recommend this TV if you're wanting to get a good tv for a good price, plus a free unl. lifetime warranty

I am looking at the new 37" Vizio at Costco. It's the one with white on the back of the TV. As far as I've seen on the Vizio site...it's their newest one...I have settled on the 37"...32" is a bit small. We sit at least 7-9 feet away from the TV in our living room...well worth a 37"...don't know that I'd go bigger.

I bought this TV last night and I LOVE IT!!! It is a truly amazing TV for a GREAT price. Especially with the peace of mind that Costco gives. Can't believe I waited this long for a HDTV big screen.
