$475 is a bit more reasonable. Samsung is good...but not the best imo...but at the 23" range they don't have much competition

The cable technician that came out to swap my dvr said that Samsung makes the screens for all other LCD TV companies like Sony, LG, etc. Have you guys heard that?

That's not true. Sony and Samsung have an LCD factory together. LG and Philips also have a factory together. Samsung doesn't make everyone's panels what so ever. Plus, there's more to a display than the hardware side...there's the software side(video processor) that really makes a nice display what it is. That's why I like Sonys better...BRAVIA imo is better than DNIe

I'm going to get that Samsung LCD, I just have to wait for my refund by mail and I should have enough for it.
Otherwise, I may buy it in a couple of weeks.
