I'm thinking about getting a 32 but no higher, what I really want to know is what specs I should be looking for that will give me the best picture quality. Thanks

I would agree that $900 for a 32" lcd is a bit expensive. I bought a 32" vizio for $599 recently and have been quite happy with it for the price.
I would certainly go with the 46" DLP if it's actually less expensive than the 32".

The only thing which is "future proof" is DEATH. Did I mention, I absolutely hate the use of the term "future proof".

I'd happily pay 900 for a good LCD of that size with a good quality. Shop around for a bit longer, but I'd say that's a good price.

If you're looking at LCDs, I would personally recommend looking for ones from Sharp. They make some of, if not the best LCDs for the cost.

I can't stand how Sharp makes panals with major bands in them. My 46D62U has a few bands.

Is it this one?

or

That one is recertified, but is it that model? If so, how do analog channels look. I had a bad experience with an LCD LG that looked crappy on analog channels. I returned it (1.5 years ago).
