Surround Sound UK/Ireland
Anyone know the best retailers for surround sound in the UK or Ireland.I live in Ireland so only an online store in the UK would suit. I have been looking for a 5.1 system to use with my Xbox 360. I was thinking about the Onkyo htsr600 that deathwish suggested but I cant find it anywhere near me online or in a store.
Any suggestions on where to find it or any other system suitable for me would be appreciated. Thanks

Until I read a comparison showing that the Panasonic is better than the Pioneer, then yes I'ld recommend the Pioneer over the Panny. However, the pq difference wouldn't be that large and the Panny is obviously a better value. Perhaps getting the Panny and simply getting an ISF calibration would be the best option

350? I've seen the Yamaha package for around 200 GBP.
I don't care for Sony's audio. It's not horrid by any means, but it's not on the same level as Onkyo or Yamaha.

Thanks, Death. Is there any difference between the POLK R50 and R300? One is tower and the other one is bookshelf? Is that it?

The R50 is the top of the line tower in Polk's R Series. The R300 is the bottom of the line. They're similar, except that the R50 has two 6.5" woofers while the R300 has one. The R50 is better, but it looks like it just sold out. Hopefully they'll get more
