720P would be optimum for that screen.

ok so im new to hd tvs so this may be the gayest question ever but can u get a 1080p 22" or 26"???? if so how much would one coast to get it?

im a very very big noob when it comes to hd tvs

Almost, I have seen 24" and 26" LCD Computer screens that do 1920x1200 but that isn't 1080P, 1080P is 1920x1080.

Don't worry about 1080p or 720p as they both look the same. Not to mention 24" TVs are usually just computer monitors with a 1680x1050 resolution.

I strongly recommend you find yourself a 720p 26" HDTV like the 26" Vizio on the first page

yah im def going to get a 26" the only wall it will work in my room is 29" kinda depresing wish some of my other walls in the room would work but i guess it wont. so 26" it is.
