PAL XBOX 360 Plays NTSC DVDs

I just read this and i tried it out myself and it works, the PAL version of the 360 can play NTSC DVDs. The only thing is that it jumps a lot when playing. Has anyone else tried watching a NTSC DVD on their 360 and have they had the same jumpy effect? If you have been able to fix this jumpy effect what did you do, thanks....
