easiest wat to convert xvid to mpeg

I was wondering if anyone knows the easiest way to convert xvid files to xbox 360 compatible files so I can view them on the tv throught the xbox.

I have tried videora's xbox 360 program with some success, but it won't open a xvid file I have for some reason.

Any other options?

You will need to convert the XVID file to MPG or some other Microsoft recognised format first.

Same goes for DIVX files.
