Death knows his stuff. I'd wager he's recommending the Onkyo's for their sound quality.

I sell that Panasonic where I work and with any type of music I like and some movies, I don't personally like the sound on it. I've never heard the Onkyo before but have heard good things and it has great reviews, go with what Deathwish suggested.

Well went to walmart and bought this. And those onkyo w/e arent sold at Walmart here and I dont feel like wasting 40 dollars in gas to get to the nearest Circuit City which is 30 minutes away. Car only gets 10 mpg :\.

I love it its perfect for what I want plus it has a 2 year warranty so Im happy.

That set isn't very good, it's the exact set I had before I bought my Pioneer VSX816K w/ DCM Cinema 2.
The receiver on the Panasonic (the one I had) fried on me one day when I went to turn it on.. so I swapped it for a new one at Walmart, came home and hooked it all up and two of the speakers were DOA.. another (center channel) died shortly afterwards. Swapped it again, reciever was DOA.
I ended up returning it for a refund.
Not worth the money IMHO, I'd return it and go with that Onkyo set Deathwish suggested, or cough up a few more bucks to pickup a higher end set
