My quad core gaming pwnage rig.
I looked and I didn't find a computer thread. Hope it's ok to post this here. I saw another thread with a guy's killer rig, so I thought why not post mine? I'm pretty stoked on it. I havent gotten around to doing any video encoding yet, but I will make it a point tonight or tomorrow.
The wire management took awhile, but it's well worth it.
The only thing holding me back from going further with the OC is the memory. But I'm fine with it.
The 160gig and 320gigs aren't picture, they weren't in when I took the picture. Will post more picturse of it later.
-Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.0GHZ
-Thermaltake V1 heatsink
-ASUS P5N-E SLI
-OCZ Dual Platinum 2 gigs running @ 900mhz
-EVGA 8800GTS
-Sound Blaster X-FI Extreme Music
-Enermax Liberty 550W Modular.
-Thermaltake Soprano Case
-WD 74gig Raptor 10,000rpm (OS, Games, Software)
-Seagate 160gig 7,200rpm (Games and music)
-WD 320gig 7,200rpm (Movies and Pictures)
*UPDATE* New final pics of the wire managment

Really nice!! Everyone's building killer rigs lately, whereas I'm planning a sub £300 testing machine.
I've got buckets of respect for anyone who keeps the PSU cabling that tidy!!

Haha, thanks guys.
Actually, a bit after I took that picture I did some tie-strap jobs in there, and added the hard drives.
I'll be home in around 2 hours, once I am, I'll be sure and update my pictures for it, it looks cleaner now, even with 2 more hard drives.
I'm really tempted to go and pick up another 2 gigs today or tomorrow. I know32-bit can only access 3.3gigs or something, but I do plan on going 64-bit once driver support becomes more acceptable.

Tbh I doubt you'd see much of an increase in performance. Which OS are you running?

Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I'll go 64-bit once driver support becomes better.
I don't expect to see a big increase in performance. I just figured since memory's so cheap, and I can pick up another pair for $110, I might as well.
So pretty much, I'd be running 3.2 or 3.3 gigs or so under 32-bit.

They're the way to go for sure. They help keep it looking clean and it definetly helps air flow.
