Question HDTV guide ??

I'm looking to purchase a HDTV. Is there a HDTV guide around for HDTV/Xbox 360? I have read several threads but still had some questions.

Thanks...I did find this link http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x...defdetails.htm .

Any other tips from you experts? I'm looking to spend about $600 or so on a new TV.

CRT Tube HDTV's will probably give you size for the price you are looking to pay.

I know for a fact at Best Buy, they have a 30 inch Magnavox HDTV for 599. If you are looking for a more top of the line CRT Tube, try a Toshiba or Sony, both around 799 for the 30 inch.

I dont really know what your tastes are for tvs, so i stuck with the CRTs. If you want more info on LCDs let me know. I know bestbuy also has a 27" westinghouse HDTV for around 799 as well. And thats a flat panel.

^^ I agree with ColdFusion. $600 will buy you a decent widescreen CRT HDTV.

Or you could go for a smaller size LCD.

the cheapest 1 in the uk is £700 for a 32 inch flat screan HD Ready around 1234 dollers

plus we have no TV transmitions in HD yet just a couple on Sky that you have to pay for.

I highly recommend This TV, Its a 30" Philips HDready widescreen, Its a refurbished one but theres no difference from that and a new one...they all work like they are soposed to. I just got mine yesterday and i couldnt be happier, the picture is absolutely stunning!!! Its also got free shipping to your door. You really cant beat that price... You can buy a few more games with the money you save...

I posted pics of my setup in the official pic thread, on the 2nd to last page, like page 33 i think, Take a look.

whatever you do, highly research DLP tv's...they are probably the best HiDef set technology to be used with videogames....no swash effect, no burn in, no rainbow...its absolutely crystal clear and they are usually well priced.

i didnt say it would be under 600, im just saying, for theyre large size and excellent resolutions, you cant beat theyre prices

i would recommend just saving more money, working more often and maybe think about financing.
