im not saying i want another generation jump right now or anytime soon (i wouldnt be able to afford it) but im just saying its going to be crazy when they do.

Not really...almost all games are rendered in 720p. The only game off the top of my head on the 360 that is drawn in 1080p is Virtual Tennis 3(yay...). There are a few 1080p games on the PS3 as well, but they looked dumbed down to run at a higher

Yea I think people just like to say they have 1080P tvs just to say that they have it. Rather than 720P

Yeah, but to someone that knows their stuff...having a 1080p HDTV means little to nothing.
