My tv dose 1080p but when i play 360 on it, i find that there really isnt ne difference in picture quality. i use the vga cable on the 360 but tehy both look just as crisp and clear as 720p. i guess you must be a videophiles to know the difference.

Generally yes. Although if you have an LCD Monitor it'll have a computer resolution like 1440x900 or 1680x1050, my guess is 1440x900 given the size of your presumable LCD

You can tell the difference. I'm sorry but this whole deal about not being able to tell the difference is total BS.
That was a select group of people that did the test. Ok they couldn't tell the difference, but that doesn't mean no one can.
I personally can tell the difference. It is just as simple as that.

Halo, I've been trying to ignore your comments...but well here we go. Try not to get offended...
Perhaps you have eyes beyond that of a normal humans...or perhaps it's all in your head.
Either way, do tell us about the last time you took two high end displays identical except for resolution, connected a native 1080p source to them, and compared the picture not knowing which display had what resolution?
Until then, you're a lone case that has a 1080p 32" display that many chuckle about as it is a pure waste of money. But hey, let me know about your blind comparison and then perhaps you'll have a little more credit other than being a biased owner trying to make himself feel good about the $1k he dropped.
Let me paint the picture a bit more...Reputable AVSForum backed by such companies as Yamaha, Optoma, SIM2 and respected Audioholics article vs dude with a 1080p display that isn't calibrated in the least bit...
/rant

I'm sure the picture looks great as it is. Your resolution is higher than 720p but less than 1080p...either way it's not a big deal.

the thing about HDTV is they charge you carzy prices for them but yet Monitors are half the price and have the same resolution .. A lot cheaper that way..... You dont see the manufacturers telling you that.
