The panny rebate is online if you look for it.
The DirectTV deal is this. The sales person handed me the phone when he get them on the line. I gave them my info. The sales person didn't write down or ask for any info about the setup. I went home and canceled the installation.

It should still work. For the DirectTV part they just put you on the phone with them and don't ask for any verification
