I haven't used it, but you are running VGA currently right?
Here is a stat page, it comes in like 3-4 different models.

Yeah my monitor is VGA.
I know there was previously different coloured models. this is the new 2008 model tho so you don't have to worry choosing the correct converted like the previous models.
I'm considering taking a punt on this one.

It's basically a digital to analog signal converter. It may lower picture quality...but I can't tell you without reading reviews.
It's better to use the MS 360 VGA cable...there's no point in getting that just to use HDMI

Cuz it's for my ps3, thats why i cant use the vga.
There's video's on youtube of people using it and it runs in 1080 on a CRT monitor.

A component to VGA adaper/cable may be a better option
