The global phenomenon that is HDfury is now available in a brand new shape: The Gamer Edition !

HDfury Gamer Edition is a straight HDMI to VGA cable that includes an embedded HDfury module.

Advantage of the Gamer Edition of HDfury is as follow:
- World's First and Only One PLUG and PLAY solution ! HDMI straigh to VGA ! All in One Cable !
- Affordable pricing to compete with the cost of Components cable + VGA box commonly used by gamers till now to connect their PS3/Elite or any others HDMI sources to an analog display.
- Outstanding and Unbeatable quality for the money (absolutely no competition with VGA box, it will make any VGA box looks like a toy from the dollar shop! )
- Allow DVD playback with upscaling up to 1080p on PS3/Elite or any others HDMI source

Below is a snapshot of HDfury standard vs HDfury All in One Cable aka the Gamer Edition

Has anyone tried this?

it sounds pretty convincing to me...how well would my monitor work with it?

I haven't used it, but you are running VGA currently right?

Here is a stat page, it comes in like 3-4 different models.

HDFURY - HDMI TO RGB CONVERTER *BLUE EDITION* (STANDARD EDITION)

Yeah my monitor is VGA.

I know there was previously different coloured models. this is the new 2008 model tho so you don't have to worry choosing the correct converted like the previous models.

I'm considering taking a punt on this one.

Am I missing something? Why not just use the 360 VGA adapter?

It's basically a digital to analog signal converter. It may lower picture quality...but I can't tell you without reading reviews.

It's better to use the MS 360 VGA cable...there's no point in getting that just to use HDMI
