New TV (42")
I am looking at purchasing a new TV (42" is max. that will fit) using Deathwish's 'technique'. The TV needs to be over a grand for the technique to work, so I am asking what is the best TV that I can buy, that is 42", and just over a grand. I was looking at this:
Panasonic - 42" 720p Flat-Panel Plasma HDTV - TH-42PX80U
Is that any good, are there any better TV's I can buy from BestBuy that will top that?
Also, I am looking at buying a stand, is this a good one:
Bush - TV Stand for Flat-Panel TVs Up to 42" or Tube TVs Up to 32" - Black - VS47942
Are there any better stands for around $150 (or under), that will hold a 42" TV?
Thanks for the help.

Yeah, the 50" model would be better
But in all seriousness, no...the Panasonic is probably the best HDTV on the market assuming it's better than the Pioneers. If it's not, then it's second best.

The best comparable pioneer elite is over $2k USD and is in store only.

Go for it like they said.
I have the TH-42PX6U (2006 model) Panny Plasma and it's great.
