No HDTV Settings
Hi guys ive bought a Syncmaster 226BW 22" from samsung, ive got it running through my PC and 360.
Ive followed all the instructions properly but still have a few little issues, the first is with my VGA cable i have a little switch (slider if you will) on the part that connects to the xbox, whats this for?
secondly when i go onto the dashboard then display settings, there is no HD settings, simply resolutions lol, is this correct? it works, but i feel like im not getting the best quality at all
thanks alot

1360x768 should work. I didn't know the VGA cable had a switch...did you get the MS one?

this is really weird, after sifting through the available resolutions i went back again to 1920x1080, this had previously stretched right off the screen, now i chose it and it fits perfectly, well about 1 cm gets lost on the bottom, nothing im bothered about especially as the quality it simply amazing now lol i just cant stand not knowing why it is working now though and it wasnt before
my VGA cable is from microsoft yea, and flipping the switch seems to do nothing, what should it be doing?
i think maybe i just have a new version of the monitor that rescales this resolution
