Strange HDTV problem
Well i bought this HDTV recently and so far it has been great, my games look nice, i know its not the best TV but it still looks nice, only for some reason, Fifa, looks like a ps2 game, and just doesn't look that good.
Im thinking its because of my cable, the HDMI cable, because my last TV was not "officially" HD, and was worse than the one i have now but i used a VGA cable (with my 360, although the problem is with my ps3, not my 360) and it looked better than it now does with my "official" HDTV and a HDMI cable, is there a reason for this?
Oh, and this is my TV. I cant find the link for the actual one but im pretty sure it has the same specs as this one EXPIRED - Swisstec 19 HD Ready LCD TV - £119.99 + 3% Quidco @ Currys ! - HotUKDeals Forum
I think the only difference is that mine has a digital TV tuner, they look identical.
Cheers

What doesn't look good?
Perhaps you should try calibrating it(well you should regardless of how it looks) and you should turn off all "enhancing" settings like Dynamic contrast. Also make sure your Sharpness is either at 0 or whatever the default is...raising can only hurt pq.

Well, the sharpness that was present with my 360 has gone, and it seems, almost blurry.
Cheers for the suggestions, ill try them, im not even sure if the TV has any enhancements like that, but it has noise reduction and stuff so ill try fiddling with them... Or i may have to wait till a ps3 vga cable becomes available.

It could honestly just be your HDTV. I've never heard of the brand and there's a reason I don't recommend no name brands. Sorry dude...
Try what I suggested, I hope it helps.
Although, you said you're using the VGA cable. What resolution are you running?
