As far as I know Pioneer doesn't make LCD's. They make Plasma's, and with Plasma TV's youhave to watch for burn in's.

The Sony Bravia series are the best LCDs on the market.

actually, burn in is not much of a concern anymore. I use my plasma to game about 3-4 hours daily and have not seen any burn in or IR

As far as LCD's, I actually like Sony.

Bang for buck? Sharp. Cost no objection? Sony.

Best TV brand, Pioneer. However, they build plasma televisions (the best damn ones out there).

since this is an opinion, and just based on brands, and has no real reasoning behind it, I will Say Panasonic this year without doubt. particularly the PZ800's

not that I have anything against the pz80's

moral is, dont get an LCD. but if for some reason you must, like the state you live in does not sell plasma's, then the new samsung 450 series and up
