Plugging 360 into DVI Monitor
I am planning on buying a 22" widescreen monitor that is capable of 720p pretty soon, and I am pretty sure I know how to get it plugged in to my xbox but i just want to make sure.
The monitor has 2 DVI-D ports. One of them would be used for my 360 and the other for my macbook. For the 360, i would use a HDMI to DVI-D cable. This takes care of video. Then for audio, i would plug in the normal rca video cables to the 360 and plug the red and white audio cables into my speakers. (JBL creatures with a mini-jack to rca female converter, so it has red and white female rca's) I am not positive this will work but I'm hoping you guys can help.
I would just buy a monitor with HDMI, but that is too expensive for me, so i will have to settle with this more confusing setup.

Wagz. You'll need to break your audio cable cause it wont fit with the HDMI in. Which Xbox do yo own?

you could use the MS vga cable, get a vga to dvi adapter, and then use the av cables that are on that cable (the vga) to go to you speaker.
