Ipod coneection problems

Alright, so needless to say I'm having trouble connection my iPod to my 360.
I've downloaded the update from the marketplace to play music from it, and at this point I'm not sure what is going on.
The iPod used to connect to the my 360 no problem, but right now it won't even get detected on it at all. I'm not sure what is wrong. I've tried redownloading the update, but still nothing.
I've also tested other USB devices on the 360, and all of them seemed to work alright.
Edit:
The iPod cable I use with my 360 works fine with my PC, so I do not think that the problem is with the cable.
Any ideas?
