Achievement question

[Desperado]

Okay, so there's an achievement for Fable 2 that gives you 100 points toward your gamerscore. The description of the achievement is as follows: Amass a 2.5 million gold real estate empire, or be there when another Hero does. Must you earn 2.5 million from the businesses and homes alone or is it supposed to unlock once you reach 2.5 million in general?

You need to own 2.5 million worth of businesses and homes, so once all of your businesses and homes added together is 2.5million you will unlock the achievement. I haven't got it yet though I've heard that owning fairfax castle which is unlocked at the end of the main story contributes alot to this achievement

Thanks. That does help. I just figured out how much I've made from businesses. I'm almost there. At 1.5 million+ right now.

On a side note, this game really fun. I've been hooked on it since getting it.

Fable is addictive, there are some good achievements that really keep you playing
this achievement is kinda boring though haha, just running round buying everything you see isn't hard

Make sure you upgrade the furniture in the houses you rent, you earn more and they are worth more.

If you don't redecorate your homes etc you have to buy almost everything in Albion to get enough property to get this achievement,my partner kept forgetting to do this and wondered why he took ages to get this achievement. You can look up the value of all your property in logbook. I hope Fable III will let you redecorate your businesses, especially the inns, to make them more profitable.
