will installed dlc be transferred from one harddrive to another

Hi,

I am thinking of buying en xbox elite and have installed both the expansion packs for fallout 3 on my xbox 20gb harddrive.

I installed these off the discs not xbox live.

I now no longer have these discs and am wondering if the content will transfer to my new hard drive with the hard drive migration cable from microsoft.

thanks in advance

Well if you installed the DLC w/ the disks, you would need the disks to continue playing Fallout 3 w/ the addons. Without the disks, it doesn't work. There is a thing called License Transfer. Go to xbox.com and type in 'License transfer'. It's the 1st link.

.

we got all our fallout dlc offline, via download. then bought a new hard drive, and used the kit to transfer it over.
ours was fine, but had it not been, we could have downloaded again no probs.

think ninja is right, you may have issues with them coming from disc.

good luck!
