Disc Unreadable
When playing fifa08 it regularly says 'disk unreadable' and i have to take the disc out and put it in again to play. Thsi is getting annoying because it is happening when i am playing online. Why is it doing this all the time?

1 Word my friend =D scratches! Your disc may look like scratches arent there but trust me... they are! there are 2 ways to fix this one of them WILL work
1. Run disc under cold water. Then dry VERY well and try again.
2. There is something called the Game Dr. This fills in ALL of your scratches WITHOUT hurting your game. This can be found at EB games. Not sure the price but it is fairly cheap.

or just take it back to the place you got it from and they give you a new one it happend to me the other day

disc sratched or problem with xbobx it is 100% one of those 2 or there may be a fault with the game itself

danny, if your does have scratches you could try taking it to a local gamestation. I'm not sure they have them in all stores, but the one near me has a little machine that re-coats the disks for £1.99. hope this helps

Despite you being a Doncaster fan, I'm happy to help danny.
Go to your local Curry's store and ask for a lens cleaner. They are about £15 (quite expensive I know), but trust me, it's worth it. I had the same problem as you and it might just be that the lens is dirty.  |
