Quitters!!
okay i was playing fifa 08 tonight and decided to play some online. So i got on and joined a match and i chose liverpool like usual cause their my favourite team, and the other player chooses barcelona caue their the best. now as the the match is about to begin the other player sends me a message saying 'ur gonna lose you pussy". Now im thinking wat a dickhead ill just beat his ass so at around the 80min mark while im 2-nil up the guy disconnects on me just because his about to lose.
Im just wondering if anyone else experiences these problems and what you do about it, i gave him some bad rep but i think ea should do something like if someone quits 5times within 10 games or something like that there banned for a week or something cause its really annoying me as i cant really get a game going

No that is harsh, banning for a week lol!!
Someone might of genuinly had to get off, probs not in your case though.
I don't think there is much EA can do with this, just maybe score some own goals or something to keep the game tight and then score in the last minute to win lol. J/K

yeh maybe banning is a bit harsh but i was just really angry last night as this was done to me a few times
i actually was thinking of scoring a couple of own goals so we would be drawing but then i thought i might of lost and the guy would of given me some shit for it

yea banning is a little too much. but i have the same problem when i play NBA live. i hate it so much some times because i like to track my record. i am not too good but i just like knowing my record. my record is like 12-9 but it should be like 20-9. I normally just give them bad feedback on Live, that is pretty much all you can do.
EA should do something about this. They could easily add a feature to forfeit a match, so that if the person is getting beat bad they can just forfeit. and if someone does quit, it should count as a win for the other person

I played a fella with 207 thousand points and he was winning 1-0 and i got it to 2-1 and in the 90 minute i scored a screamer to make it 3-1 and the wanker quit.

EA has to do something I hate when they quit like I was Juventus and Scored to make it 2-1 in injury time and this punk quit surely there has to be something that can be done

yea i do agree with banning being too harsh and most of the post make valid points that i agree with :P but it is really annoying when they leave,but i have had a guy once that left on the highlights after the match when i beat him and i didnt get the win for it :S
