I wouldnt say that was PROOF, you've just got opinions from your mates who've played both.

Play the demo's and see which game tickles your balls.

I personally prefer fifa 08 but only just.

Fifa is improving, pro evo doesnt seem to be improving since PES4.

Im a massive PES fan and have owned every copy for my PS2. I bought PES08 for the 360 and was mightily disappointed! Way behind on graphics, gameplay and online play is awful! What's with the players teleporting all over the pitch? Far too laggy. I've since traded it in for FIFA08 and was pleasantly surprised, great gameplay, graphics are top notch and online play is second to none. Konami have their work cut out for next year's release!

I dont agree with that.
You can say a games better because its licensed and has real players.
Also pes gameplay is definitely not better.

I also have owned all pes games, and always loved the gameplay. This years one is way too fast, and easy. Plus each game you play its 10-9, stupid unrealistic scores.
Fifa on the other hand, its no way near perfect. Very slow at times, sometimes doesnt pass or turn where you want him to. Players sometimes get confused and run into each other. But is better than pes 2008 this year. Never thought id say that because all pes games have been better up till now.
They just rushed it and didnt put a lot of thought into it. The next one should be great because they can learn from fifa. But also this years fifa will be a lot sharper and if they make turning, passing etc a tiny bit quicker, they could have a great game coming. Konami are wankers, ruined one of the best/fun football games theres ever been.

Yes Maybe I Was A Bit off because this is the only PES Game i Have Purchased As i Am A FIFA Guy My Self
But i do like the gameplay compared to fifa its alot faster

pes has been going down hill for 4 years.

fifa has been improved (only a little bit) every year since the early 00's.

neither game is "Brilliant", far from it. just that fifa 08 edge's it this year.

its only pes 2008 and pes 6 (360 version) which have been crap. Pes 6 on the ps2 was a brilliant game. great fun.
I love fifa sometimes, and other times it just gets on my tits.

to be honets, it's pretty hit & miss for football games, personally i've not liked a pro evo game since i got the edited pro evo 4.

the best fifa game BY FAR that i've played was road to the world cup 98. that was fucking brilliant.

This should be made a poll, so it will be easier for the OP to see what people think. Personally I think Fifa is better, because pro evo controls are sometimes confusing. Although they both have good and bad parts to them. Try renting them out and see which one you prefer.
