Getting used to the game

How long does it take to get used to the Joystick?...I've played with the D pad in the past and am now forced to use the stick. ive had the game one week now, still on amature and find scoring goals and my passing accuracy crap.

any tips?

I like the graphics, the game modes are great...its just a pain in the arse to get used to the controls. Im trying to learn but getting frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fifa Games Have Been Beneficial With The Left Stick Being Used I Feel It Is Easier And And U Can Run Around More Freely Using The Left Stick

I have the game, an play it regularly, but it pisses me off to no end that the players still seem to be on rails. Only 8 movements, up/back, left/right, and diagonal. The analogue sticks don't give any more control over the Dpad.

yea you will get used to it, but it'll take months to master. its a great game though.

Hasn't Fifa utilised the toggle stick as the primary form of movement for the players for a few games now? I thought this was the case at least on the 06 game.

I personally like the use of the toggle stick as the play feels more fluid and the players seem to respond better to it.

I was a little frustrated when using the stick at first but after a couple of games i was 100% used to it.

toggle stick makes it alot easier to make those little cut moves that help you get by defenders.

If you're a soccer fan and you know about soccer I don't think it'll take too much time to play it.
It took me like a week to beat the comp. at professional and my last fifa was 2002 in gamecube :x.

If you don't know alot about soccer and are the ones that just keep pressing RT most of the time and just run to the ball I suggest you.
1. Learn about soccer
2. Give back the game and buy fifa street 3 : ).
