Is "Next-Gen" FIFA better than "Next-Gen" Pro Evo?

I just lost 9-0 against Athletic Bilbao.
On Semi-Pro difficulty.
I was Barcelona.
In fairness, after I went 3-0 down I lost heart and slotted a couple past my own keeper, just out of girlie petulance.
And the fact that I'm shit.

So I just went there today and traded FIFA in for Pro Evo.
I just can't get into FIFA, as much as I try it just isn't "me".

I've played Pro Evo since it was called "International Superstar Soccer" on the SNES and I'm just used to it.
Turning on Pro Evo I immediately felt "at home" and set about battering teams all over the place.
I guess it's true - you're one or the other (with a few exceptions).

And I guess I'm a Pro Evo man.

hi Starr man, im from Argentina, so you know we are Futbol fans...
Fifa 2008 is better than pro evo 07 (08 sucks).
someone told me tha eurocopa is even better than fifa 08...
but....
i´m a pro evo big fan, i have fifa 08, it.´s great, but i still think that konami has reserved the best to come...
proevolution 09 will be, again, the soccer sim to cath up...

pro evo for me still feels more real, when u score a 30 yard screamer it actualy screams in and tears up the net on fifa it just seems to float into the steel cage of a net , pro just seems to have the better more real physics engine altho fifa looks a bit better when its all still and stuff the pro players move like real players and each player as u said moves a bit differently. i dunno i am pro evo threw and threw but i do enjoy parts of the new fifa and i think fifa 09 will be even better. at the moment pro is the king but only just. one way i look at is pro evo is united and fifa is chelsea, only a penalty shoot out can seperate the two :P cant wiat for the next verision of both games.

Well, i kinda suck at fifa because i played PES for a long time now and i can actually get the grip of it.. i got both games but fifa is kinda complicated for me, i can't go past a defender easily and i always screw up and i am easily tackled

Anyhow, PES2008 isn't good by any means. it feels a let down compared to older versions.. i will keep playing fifa and seeking tutorials to learn more. but i won't be going online with for a long time.
