The controls for this game are not hard. But just like Tiger Woods you will not hit a straight ball evertime using the analog stick. Anyone who says they have zero problems throwing the exact punch they want are full of shit.

2 clean uppercuts by Mike Tyson should land you on your ass but in this game that is not the case. Also, Mike Tyson has never been knocked down by a single punch yet when I fought George Foreman his first punched knocked me down. And throwing a haymaker is much too difficult in the game. It should not be a chore to throw a power punch. And when you actually do throw one its so slow. And if you miss you pause for a second. Who pauses when they throw a hard punch?

Plus the mini games are too hard. Because of this I just do the auto train because when I do the training I end up with only like 1pt.

I must be full of shit then. Cause I dont have an issue. The only time it throws a punch I dont want is when I get in to close it throws a body shot instead of a head, but thats understandable since I'm so close.

Play on GOAT then. What difficulty are you playing on? If you play on GOAT against Tyson, and you let him uppercut you once, your down.
(Also remember its a game, none of these guys could take the pounding that they get in the game.)

Ummm ok......Why is it understandable? You are wanting to throw a head shot and its a body shot. You just said you do not have an issue and then said you do. Yet another reason why button mapping is needed.

The game is not bad. I give it a 7.5/10 maybe an 8. I am playing on normal settings but I have tossed the game aside to play Ice Age lol. Need them trophies!!!!

Its understandable cause if I'm humping the other guys belly, its nearly impossible to punch someone in the head. Try it. But I also said that is the only time it happens. It might be cause I have a long reach/outside boxer. I take a step back and its fine.

Button Mapping? Really? Only kids want button mashing boxing. Horrible idea.

Maybe its the sticks? I think the PS3 analogs are horrible compared to the 360s.

That is actually what I have heard from many people. I have not tried it out myself. But I would be biased seeing as I have a 360. My friend who have both have said that the 360's analog sticks are better for this game.

The PS3 analog sticks would rape the 360's if they found each other trapped in a cave in Brazil together.

Lethal, Schmo's right, when you're like chest to chest you can't throw a straight to the head. Have you ever watched boxing? Also, if you're in career Tyson's stats won't be his real life stats until you build them up. So, an uppercut from a 73 Tyson isn't the same as from a 91 Tyson.
