forza 3 demo controller configuration
Anyone else find the fixed configuration for the controller in the demo highly annoying.
I hope it can be changed in the game, thats the reason I sold race pro as you couldnt use anything other than the triggers to accelerate and brake.
I dont like that style of driving, hope it can be changed in the main game as it will be a massive dissapointment to me otherwise

TBH, Im used to using the triggers to accelerate and brake now. I prefer them that way.
Since its common for most driving games now, Im not sure if you will be able to change the configuration in the main game.
Probably best to hold off buying it, until its released and someone can check for you.......

Will have to do that, I used to have a wheel but I couldnt get the hang of using it, so prefer to use the controller, just hate that configuration. Just what im used to I suppose.

I find the triggers easier than anything else as you can use the correct amount of power and maintain it through the corners better than you can with the buttons.

True - remember that the trigger buttons are pressure sensitive - the A/B/X/Y buttons are not. Hence you can control the throttle better - the more you press the trigger the more acceleration you get.

True, but as I said its just what im used to, I prefer to use the triggers to bang through the gears as opposed to accelerating.
