What kind of customization are you talking about? Mechanical? Then yes it will, just like past GTs. If your talking about drawing on a car... then I could give 2 shits about that. If I wanted to pixel draw, I'd play with MS paint all day. I want to race.

Yes i mean mechanically. And i don't just mean engine parts etc. I also mean body work. I like buying a cheap nasty car & building it up to beat lambos & look like something out of fast & furious.

GT1 had none, GT2 was good for that. But after that one it was shit for customization.
You couldn't change any body parts, just mechanical parts.

Obviously some people want to draw on their cars & others can't be arsed. I did a bit & i wasn't bad at it, but at least i & others had the bloody option.

And that's the point, why go for a racer that doesn't give you as much option.

I could careless about body modification too. Its so played out after all those Need For Speed games. Besides, I drive in the cockpit view, so I never see the car.

Well i think you're the minority then mate.

I also drive in cockpit view. But as i don't have the money in real life to buy & mod cars, at least i can do it in this.

Like i said, regardless of whether you care about that stuff or not, the point i am trying to make is, at least Forza gives you the choice.
And to say GT5 is a better game because it "may" have better graphics (And so far that is the only thing going for it.) Is a little naive imo.

I like GT series cause it truly is the only simulation racing game. Even though Forza claims to be a sim racer, it still feels to arcady for my taste. Its also the familiarity value, kind of like RB vs. GH. They're virtually the same game, but I like the look and feel of GH better. Plus Xbox wont let me use a G25 racing wheel

, so I have to go to GT5 side for my realism kick.

Well if it's anything like prologue then i disagree. I found that just boring. I bought about 6 cars & gave up.

And i was a massive fan of the GT series.

Forza 2 was a sim, but it didn't get to heavy with stats, so that it was nerdy.
GT prologue was just stat heavy, but the amount of time i changed my cars from one level to the next & noticed jack all difference.

Whereas i really do noticed the difference between each car & when you change things on Forza 2. (Obviously not everything, but most things)
As long as they keep the Sim style of racing with Forza 3, then i can only see this getting better.

But if you have a wheel for it already then i guess that's a given.

That logitech wheel i bought the other day is fantastic. So i'll keep with that. Hopefully it'll still work with Forza 3.

I do have the MS wheel, I may check out F3 just to see the hype.

I got bored of Prologue too. Only because it was only the 'Arcade' side of the game. Hard to get into with out a career mode. But GT5's career I'll play the shit out of. Your talking to a guy who loves the endurance races that last 5+ hours. Thats why I bought a racing seat to make a cockpit.

Well Forza 2 had endurance races. And I'm sure F3 will have also.
Those are the only kind i really don't like.
I can't watch F1 racing, purely because it lasts for more than an hour.

I can't drive round a track over & over again for hours at a time. It would do my head it, seriously.

I have only done about 2 endurance races on F2 & those were the shortest ones.

I did the long ones. I get so into it, I forget how long they are. Its fun especialy the long one at that long as German track.. Luxemburg something.
