Hate IT!
Man, whats with the understeering on this game! its just so awefull - graphics are great but the turning is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

you will be able to change that in the full game with the settings for your car.

i hope so, cuz i found that it was hard to steer because of all the understeer and that put me off, but if it can be changed then i might get it

the understeer is what you would find if you were racing a normal car, this game is meant to be a SIM, so yeah if you dont brake and turn right and shit you will get understeer.

Your tires only have so much traction, so if you are jamming the brakes all the traction is being used to slow down and not turn, if you are jamming the gas then the traction is trying to accelerate the car not turn it....if you want to turn easily brake in the straight as you ease off the brake ease into the turn then as you ease out of the turn ease back on the gas, this will help you get the most traction out of your ride without throwing you into a wall

Sounds like he's a BLAT racer! Brake Late and Turn!
I found that with alot of cars in the demo, turn off steering assist, and break earlier should help stop the under steer

If you want to unrealistically chuck your car around corners without any oversteer, buy NFS: Carbon.......
