I got around the 50/60mhz thing by changing the settings on the xbox dashboard to 60mhz and plugging into the tv using the 3 colour scart cables direct.
I couldnt get it to work any other way, but this way it does work.
how have you connected the xbox up to the tv?
I was running mine through a scart spitter box, which was getting interferance from the sky and dvd scart leads which caused it to not work properly.
Plugging directly into the tv solved this problem.
