microsoft points cost a bomb lol, I was lucky to get some free when I bought GTA IV from GAME lol.

I downloaded the 207 S2000, seat leon, Clio 197, and the Nissan car pack. Also a COD4 download, and Grid demo

I take it that I still have to buy these cars in the game??

Correct. The download packs just unlock those cars in the game, you still need to go and buy them to use them.
