Total Memory Loss

Hey guys,

Need some help.

Was playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on my 360 when the game froze (After I had just gotten killed). It stayed hung for the next 4-5 minutes. I tried to press all buttons but to no avail. Then as you do with computers, I shut down the console and tried to start the game again thinking that my progress is already saved as per the last checkpoint. But the game said that I needed to set up a new profile as my profile was not there. I double checked the memory and it is at 48.8 GB. All my progress on Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and Rainbow 6 has been deleted apparently. Can someone please help me find out a way to get the memory back as otherwise I will have to start those games all over again. If I cannot get the memory back, can someone tell me why the problem occured or is it a hardware problem (I am still under the warranty by Mircosoft). Also, if something like this were to happen again, how should I handle it.

I am really frustrated and would love some inputs

sorry dude, but everything is permenantly gone. Youre online stats are still there though, they are in your xbox live profile not on youre hard drive.
