i dont hink you can get rid of the soul but you can recharge ure weapon but that will waste the gem....

useing a soulgem will make the gem dissapear the only gem that doesnt is Azuras star which you get for completing the azura daedric quest

Within 3 days of being bitten you can go to a Chapel and cure yourself, after that prepare for a long quest, so I've heard. |

were can you find 5 ectoplasms? it is for one of the fighters guild quests

In the basmentof chapels/churches normally there are a few ghosts floating about might be able to get 5 ectoplasms from there
Otherwise theres a few ruins where theres LOADS of ghosts in the level
