Oblivion: Spell Question

I am a Redguard / Warrior / Crusador - Do I need to even worry about getting some spells or am I mostly hand to hand combat? Also, how do I learn new spells?

It wouldn't hurt to know some spells. You get new spells from buying them from certian people who sell them or if you get into the arcane academy you can make your own spells. Some helpful spells are conjourer and distruction spells. alteration is good too.

usually you can buy spells at the mages guild in each city... and there are some shops that sell them to...

im a nord custom class harbinger i dont use spell much i have a fireball spell i use to blowup small creatures like scamps and brown bears but that is about it watching a bear die instantly and be thrown ten feet is petty cool but my sword does most of the talking the only spell i really use is heal
