main quest took 21 hours to beat
not non-stop, i did a LOT of other stuff in between
and i have full umbra, but i dont really have anything to enchant the shield with... what should i use?

So, when you complete the main quest you close every Oblivion gate? I thought they still popped up in the wilderness.

Yeah, finishing the main quest ends the oblivion gates from popping up.

yea so make sure that before you finish the main quest you get all the sigil stones you want

Beating the main quest was awesome, I espically like the great oblivion gate.

as for the sheid i say umbras it is slightly better than regular ebony i use the tower of the nine which is sold at the sheid shop it isnt the best protection but the enchantments help alot

so if you leave the main quest unfinished the oblivion gates just keep popping up randomly forever? or is there a certain amount....

they will pop up forever untill you complete the main quest aand the close you get to completing the main quest untill you close the great gate the number will increase i havent close the great gate yet and ther are oblivion gates everywhere

yeah you can get a lot of sigil stones and items that are woth alot of money i usually grab daedric weapons and sell them ive got alot of money but i spent most on a couple houses
